It was a great night of testing, especially for the MotoGP Ducati Marlboro team. Their rider, Casey Stoner (1:55.330), was able to come away from the testing with not only the quickest lap of Night 1, but also to beat the Losail circuit record by more than a second. The circuit record was set by Stoner himself in 2007 with 1:56.528.
