Pinole Man Killed in Richmond Motorcycle Crash

NORTH RICHMOND, CA - A 37-year old Pinole man died late Thursday night when he lost control of his 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle and crashed on Richmond Parkway, the California Highway Patrol said.
The CHP said Paul Benter was riding his motorcycle in the fast lane, traveling northbound, speeding and passing cars when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the bike just past Parr Boulevard.
Benter collided with the center divider and the impact threw him from the motorcycle and into two trees. CHP said Benter was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is urged to contact CHP investigators at 510-450-3821.

Its all wrong. 2 off duty cops were riding as paul pulled up next to them riding his harley, they wanted to race. They got to about the bend right before rod&gun club,& one of the off duty cops lost control, paul swearved out of the way not to run him over & then thats when paul hit the curb got thrown off his bike hit 2 trees & a pole & died. If you read every article about paul it doesn’t say nothing about the cops, WHY IS THAT ARE THEY HIDDING SOMETHING. I know the whole story cause i know the other person with paul when it happenned.

That’s really sad, Hajie. You expect more from police officers and expect them to do the right thing, but obviously that is not always the case…
